Everything is OK in the cohabitation in Seychelles… But is it really?

2018 is proving to be the year for revelations. Last year we discovered our Coconut, and this year from very early we have a 1/16 Indian claiming his ancestry. For our coconut I say that I don’t hate anyone except a direct and indirect racist. It’s a shame our presence as black people makes him feel so inferior, insecure, broken and small. Failing to realize you are responsible for your own feelings just confirms you as a coconut.

Seychelles, our poor Seychelles where have we reached? Now he is 1/16 Indian and we have all been worrying which 1/16 it is that is Indian in him. Not his height because he is short and chubby and this is not very Indian. His big enlarged head is totally not Indian, so which 1/16 can it be. Some are saying it is his love for money, but Indians work hard for their money and they are bashed for this even to the extent of referring to them as a cartel block for running shops. I am so confused but….. This is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

“So elections in July” the defacto President (or the one dying to be saluted as His Excellency Mr. President) was insinuating in his statement made public by Today Newspaper. Amazing that he even has the audacity to be the one to break the news to Seychelles and not the President who is in office. His one-to-one gives him a lot of inside information and this is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

The reopening ceremony of the Supreme Court by CJ Twomey has been done and we now need the reopening ceremony of the Ramkalawan National Assembly Court. MNAs could parade behind him in his robe (he has one from his past role as a priest) followed by all his appointments done after due consultation with DF: CAA, Ombudsman, SBC Board and CEO, NISA, SIB, Mayor etc. It will be a real eye-opening event for our small country. This is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

The TeleSesel Interview by Ramkalawan revealed that the high salary for MNAs is because they help the voters in their districts. The day right after that interview in the Victoria Market everyone was asking when did they receive any help from their MNA? When did their schoolchildren get help to prepare for their new term? And when was the last time an MNA gave them a ride to town in their BIG DUTYFREE CAR. One lady sais she has been trying to call them but with no success as they are too busy these days. They do not see people, they do not meet people and now we are told that they give money to people. Just another lie by some desperate politicians. This is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

We asked for a full bottle and got only a half one at the elections, and without 2/3 majority we cannot change anything. What utter bullshit was again echoed by Ramkalawan? LDS wanted to change the applicable laws for the Offshore rich players and they did it without their 2/3 majority. What they are not changing is what they do not want to change. Simple and Fact. This is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

The sweet election is getting clearer for everyone now that President Faure has no political party and Ramkalawan will be the candidate for the SNP as was announced in India. The door is wide open for the other contenders. Social Media was fast to see Speaker Patrick Pillay’s legal person Mr. Cesar announce a first list of potential Presidential candidates:- Danny Faure, Wavel Ramkalawan, Philippe Boulle, Alexia Amesbury and Alain St.Ange as the wild card. We are hearing more names coming from Ramkalawan’s circle of associates as well and now understand the sweet elections call by President Faure. This is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

After Midnight mass last Christmas at the Cathedral in Victoria, Seychelles was treated to a public dressing down for naughty boys. MNA Bird who used to spend time discussing with Kong got a mouthful from a lady who is upset with his false promises. The telling off was in public for all to see and it showed how some politicians will say anything for a vote and then stay away from the voters as if all is well. This is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

Assumption Island has been handed on a platter to India. What is in it for the wheeler dealer? Seychelles is reminded of the 5 million dollars for 4 passports, 500 thousand rupees for raising the La Misere land for an elderly lady and we can only imagine the size of the gunny bag of money for an island. This is what some are saying is OK....but is it really?

Cost of food, fuel, electricity, water is the talk of every seychellois. But after the month long debate on the budget the opposition did not make any motion to drop these costs and the Minister Larose proposed Budget went through. Seychellois will suffer in this 2018 because the National Assembly Members are just not bothered. A vote in the next elections for Danny Faure or Ramkalawan will just continue to get you more years of the same suffering or more suffering. This is what some are saying is OK… but is it really?

That is all for this week. My sister Pretty K is a bit angry these days and understands better the feelings of the bitter Madame who had to share her Chou with her. Now she is fighting to save what she has from a “blondy” who has arrived on the scene. This is so unfair. Pretty K gave up her youth for the old man and now he is playing as if he is a Muslim and wanting three wives. We shall need a meeting with Madame, we need her on our side to deal with Blondy. The visit to Desroches Island is being planned and he must think people will not speak. Staff are rehearsing how to sing the song “Goodnight Irene, goodnight” as the serenading will be important for a satisfying dirty weekend.

An Opposition voter and financial backer who at a point in time even aspired to the Presidency as well (but no more apparently as he is disillusioned with what he sees) was heard discussing politics and said “For the Opposition to achieve its objectives without distraction, it must tame individual political ambitions within it”. How right he is, and he speaks for most Seychellois who want
to see change. Seychelles knows that only one person needs to be tamed for the promises made at the last elections to be achieved. But all is not lost the gathering of forces seem to be taking place and soon, very soon we are informed the hawk will pounce on the egocentric nightmare Seychelles rejected at the ballot, but who entered the lounge on a rebate ticket unlike Loizeau, Ferrari, Georges or Speaker Patrick Pillay among others who made it in as genuine politicians of substance with leadership criteria and this is what some are saying is OK.…. but is it really ?

Bye for now. Let us watch out for this “blondy”, who is now on the scene. She wants to steal from my pretty sister and I will not have it.
